Problem with Warranty service upgrade of T60

#1 Post by leo2002 » Wed Dec 06, 2006 4:33 pm

I ordered warranty update of onsite service for my new T60 this Monday and the sales rep. told me it would be effective in 2-3 days.

I called back today (> 48 hours later) and another sales rep. told me it was still in process and it would take 7-10 business days to get it ready!!

How could this be?? How could I expect next business day onsite service when the ordering of onsite service takes 7-10 days??

I just felt that they were playing with me. I am really considering returning my T60 now.

Anybody had similar experiences or I am just unlucky??

I recall reading of a similar incident with someone and their t4X, it just took a while to get the warranty upgrade processed so apparently this is not an uncommon experience.
