Just got my T60 ,Black dead pixel?

#1 Post by ronan_zj » Thu Dec 07, 2006 1:33 pm

werid. Does black dead pixel exist?
doing my screen test,
the blackdead pixel will appear in White,Green, yellor full screen.
when screen is Blue, and Red, the black point will disappear.

hmmm, bad luck...

anyways, the new T60 screen is much better than my old T42.
I love it.

Black dead pixels do exist, as do white ones. Have you made sure that it is indeed a dead pixel and not a stuck pixel?

Run a pixel "unstick" loop on it for an extended period of time, probably overnight and see if it fades or gets unstuck. If it isn't just very dim, but completely black, it is most likely a dead pixel.

Hey ronan quick question.

Mine says that it shipped today on 12/07/06 but the rescheduled delivery date is 12/14/06. Did yours have a long rescheduled date. It seems you got yours in 2 days. When was your date?

Much like the simple sound that is sometimes heard during scrolling or is it different?

any idea about this issue?
I just lower down the display brightness, then the niose comes out.
if the brightness is maximum, i can hear nothing.
also, my BISO is 2.05? hmm, I can only find 2.03 from Lenovo.
