#1 Post by x60raj » Fri Dec 08, 2006 12:59 pm

Although my bluetooth is working fine, i've noticed that the light does not turn on anymore when it is activated. Anyone got info on this. Thanks in advance

I see this too. I rarely use bluetooth, so I'm not sure when the light stopped coming on. Maybe related to upgrading to BIOS 2.05?

Does the light turn on and off when you activate/de-activate the Bluetooth through the Fn+F5 combo?

It's off all the time. No matter what fn-f5 ing you do.

But in the past, it would switch on and off when you would activate/deactivate it that way.

Does the light only come on when the computer has established a connection to a Bluetooth device? I haven't tried using Bluetooth on my system yet.

no. The bluetooth light is right beside the wireless indicator. It should turn on right when the bluetooth device has been eneabled by pressing Fn+fn and enabling it. The device still work perfectly fine, it's just the light that doesnt turn on

Well, I just enabled Bluetooth on my relatively new system. I had no idea what I was doing, but I turned on the radio and the device drivers installed themselves. The Bluetooth light does work. It turns on when the radio is on and vice versa. I'm using BIOS version 2.06.
