Battery info wrong

For some reason, and for no reason, my two week old T-60 is showing the wattage in my task bar when I use battery power. Once I plug in the AC, the % amount of battery power comes back.
This just began today for no reason.
Any help on this subject would be appriciated.

Just left-click the power meter and choose "show", there you should see three alternatives. My computer has this in swedish, but it should say something like "percentage left", "remaining time on battery" and "wattage on battery".
