CPU at 100%, PCMCIA slot or wireless card?

I have an IBM ThinkPad 600E 2646-4bu and a Belkin Wireless G notebook card F5D7010 v.5000. I have had this problem occur, but has not done it since i upgraded the hard drive and installed windows xp in early October. When I plug in the card, everything works fine, but when the card connects to a wireless network, the cpu usage goes up to 100%. I have put the card in the other slot and it seems to be working for now. I am sure that the card is not the culprit because I have put the card in other computers with out any problems. I believe it has something to do with the PCMCIA card driver or the card slots themselves. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Update.

I uninstalled my firewall and I am still using the bottom card slot. Everything appears to be working. I believe the firewall (ZoneAlarm) was to blame for my problems. I still have the issue with the top card slot, but it is sporadic. Sometimes its fine in the top slot, sometimes it isn't. Has anyone else had this issue before with a wireless card, or is it just me? Just wanting to know.

Before I upgraded my t30 to internal wireless i bought a belkin pcmcia card that caused BSODs when coming out of hibernation, so really anything is possible sometimes some hardware just don't want to cooperate.

Kyocera. Funny thing with BSOD's, my 600E did pop one out while trying to reconnect to my school's wifi, but the machine rebooted before Windows could save the log file, so I have no clue what caused it. I've been using for a couple of days with out any problems. Used it all yesterday while I did an XP repair on my PIII desktop.
