UltraNav buttons after standard palm rest removal

I just replaced my palm rest for a "without touch pad" one because i do not use it in anyway.

Therefore WinXP does not detect anymore the UltraNav and the adequate driver that also allows the usage of the central button (below the spacebar) for scrolling is not loaded in RAM --> this central button is disabled.

Did someone find a way around ?

You might want to search/read through the T-series section of this forum. Several people have done this mod so try PM-ing them for their solution.

I'm sorry but i can't find any solution as if nobody had the same problem. May be no one removed their palm rest to a clean one ?
