small question about Vista RTM - please help

#1 Post by masterus » Tue Dec 12, 2006 10:34 am

Hi

I was one of the lucky guys who had chance to download Vista RC2 from Microsoft servers before they have shut them down.
Now I'd like to get Vista RTM originall from Microsoft but unfortune I don't have account in Microsoft MSDN and have no extra need to open.
So my question is:
Has anyone account on Microsoft MSDN and could give me that details to download Vista RTM :?:
or
Did anyone downloaded Vista RTM from Microsoft MSDN and could upload to some server to others be able to download it :?:
I'd be really gratefull for the answer and PM.

(1) That's not really kosher, and (2) Vista RTM has to be activated so having a download is not enough for you to run it.

Just go to your favorite store and purchase a vista license. Vista system builder starting at about 100 bucks.

That's the only way to get a legal copy of vista. Even if you would get a copy of Vista, since it has to be activated you will run into trouble at some time.

MSDN is a subscription service you pay $xxx for (I don't know how much) per month. So it's not like the RTM version was just put out there for free like RC2, you have to be a paying member to get it.
