$500 shipped.

specs differ though. these are the actual specs:

P M 1.3GHz LV, 256MB RAM, 40GB 4200rpm HDD, 12.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, Intel Extreme, Intel 802.11b/g wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet, Secure Chip, 4 cell Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro

i can throw in the x4 dock with dvd cdrw for $90

the catch is that the usb ports don't work. i don't know why. maybe something with the driver?

I have installed WinXP on many computers (including an X40) and have never encountered one whose USB ports can't be properly installed with the drivers that come with XP. I am almost sure it's a hardware problem.
