Office 2007 Ultranav scrolling problems

What ever happened to the "regular" Ultranav scrolling in Office 2007? Everything worked just fine in 2003, but now if you use the "standard" setting for the Trackpoint scrolling option, some parts won't scroll at all. (Currently on the v7.5.17.20 Ultranav drivers)

So far, the Outlook reading pane and message windows, and everything in Word aren't working for me. Excel seems to work fine, and the Outlook message list works as well.

The only solution I've found so far is to use the "autodetect" setting for the Trackpoint, but this of course makes it behave like the dreaded middle-click scroll...so terrible

Is there any solution to this? Will Lenovo release a driver update?

This is almost annoying enough to make me downgrade to 2003, but I already upconverted my Outlook files to 2007.
