Internet Connectivity Problems on X60s

#1 Post by RUSH2112 » Fri Dec 15, 2006 8:48 pm

On my X60s (1704-69U), when I try to connect to the internet under Linux, it drops after about ten or twenty seconds, times out for about two minutes, then comes back on for 10-20 secs and repeats. This is true on wired and wireless interfaces, multiple distros, both trough the browser and terminal. It is making Linux pretty much useless on my laptop, can anyone help?

It only happends at home? or elsewhere as well?

My z61t seems to have trouble with my router for my wired connection. I have to plug it in while booting. Wireless works flawlessly though.

Try at a different place, I'd say.
