Did I read this correctly? FREE Messenger Case?
Based on the VISA and Lenovo employee discount promo, carrying case is FREE when you use VISA. What does this mean?

I'm pretty sure you have to start on one of the MC/Visa/Amex pages if you don't have access to EPP.ennma wrote:how did you acctually get to the page?
Try starting here, then click on accessories and upgrades, then carrying cases.

Yeah, it pops up under this path without my EPP/Grant or other program details; simply click Accessories, then Carrying Cases, it should pop up at the top of the list.JHEM wrote:I'm pretty sure you have to start on one of the MC/Visa/Amex pages if you don't have access to EPP.ennma wrote:how did you acctually get to the page?

According to some, this should be just a price mistake and shipping fee was $0.Kyocera wrote:do you have to buy something else to get this for free or do you have to pay the shipping? Thanks.

No shipping costs either, I just ordered one. It went through as free and I got a confirmation. You don't have to purchase anything else, either.Kyocera wrote:Hi, I'm new here, do you have to buy something else to get this for free or do you have to pay the shipping? Thanks.

I dont think so , I went to one of the links on the replies, and it does says:
free messenger bag, not free shipping on messenger bag,.
I think
there is a glitch , as to the free bundle for the purchase of thinkpads,
and the offer extended accross the servers.
just my 2 cents
just hope, they dont charge us when they realize it.

No, the shipping is free on certain items from Lenovo. Like the last HDD adapters I bought.
However, I do not think it is a typo; unless, of course, said typo can intelligently manifest not only in the page title, triplication of the balances, and the resulting email confirmation order with the balance...Yeah, that would have to be one hell of a typo.

I ordered one too, but I'm not sure we'll get them. From the page linked at the top of this thread, click to go to the Lenovo homepage and a popup window appears saying . . .
"You are now leaving your entitled site.
Please feel free to continue to shop on lenovo.com, or if you prefer, cancel to stay within your entitled store."
Are we entitled? Does a Dunce-Cap count?

Just ordered one here too. Confirmation e-mail came in less than 2 minutes after the order was placed. I hope nobody is greedy and orders 5 or 10 of them at the same time!

Yeah, *really* mature people...For more than one person, I might understand, though.
Now I am beginning to wonder if the only ones that didn't order one bag per account are Ray and I!
Also, lemmings don't really commit suicide; a popular, wishful fantasy, though...but one nevertheless (I blame Disney myself).

That is rather strange now isn't it, if you mean ca.lenovo.com?draco2527 wrote:Got a confirmation (did not use my account and still provided the correct customer number). The confirmation seems to be from Lenovo Canada and not Lenovo USA.
Has anybody seen whether or not this is available, directly, in Canada?

That's only because they (Lenovo CA) serve as the fulfillment house for online purchases. With the exception of parts and used equipment purchases, AFAIR every purchase I've made from IBM or Lenovo has been confirmed from a .ca address.draco2527 wrote:Got a confirmation (did not use my account and still provided the correct customer number). I placed an order last night. If I check the order status with the information provided in the confirmation email, I get the error message
"Invalid Customer Number and/or Order Number.
Please verify that your customer number and order number have been entered correctly."
A bad sign or is it too soon to check the status online?
