I thought it was a gonner when I looked at the temp that tp

reported back, I had set it on smart mode, and the program ended

and got stuck on 0 rpm. I didnt realized until 45 minutes later, then

fired up tp and checked the temp, 80c gpu. Thank God it didn't die.

The critical shutdown temperature for the system core is around 100°C; besides, before you get to a temperature that will be able to damage the CPU, the system itself would have clocked down/shut off due to safeguards within the hardware itself.

True, I was just shocked , never seen the ATI take that temperature before.

What was it doing during the time when the fan was at zero RPM?

I was reading the Godfather in pdf, couldnt put it off, finished the whole book in one day, its a good one.
