Webcam for T22 and what attaches to the edge of my lid?

I probably should have posted this in Hardware/Software, but I am looking for opinions specifically for my T22. It has, as maybe all Thinkpads, a hardware port smack in the middle of the front edge of my lid; there is a little rubber cap seated in there now. But what kind of camera was designed to use that hookup port, as the pin line-up looks pretty specific. So anyone use a camera on their T2x series and do you have any suggestions? I only want to use it with my sister in San Jose using Net Meeting I guess. Thanks in advance.

Whoa, thanks for that link, never been to that site before. There is lots of info there. I sort of got all excited when it said that this lid edge port is really just a USB 1.1 port, because I thought I just found another USB port (I only got 1 on the back) but I guess it really isn't usable as a USB port since it is so big. Thanks again.

I bought and used mine from the original T20 through, T21, T22 and finally with my T23. They all have that port along with the A2/3x (P Model) and some of the X2s. I actually used it quite a bit with Netmeeting early on, but in the last few years, it just sat in the computer case.

In fact I just sold it to a guy through the Marketplace last week. It was neat though.

Hi Schen, I take it you used the IBM UltraPort camera? Where did you buy it? I may check eBay, since I have the FRU#.
