I went to see the movie Blood Diamond tonight. I had heard a lot about the diamond industry and the monopoly and the so-called "blood diamonds", but it was still pretty intense to see onscreen. I thought it was a great movie, and it further supports the fact that Leonardo DiCaprio really is a great actor.
One thing of note: the reporter in this movie uses a ThinkPad Butterfly as her laptop. The movie was set in 1999.

I still use my 701c Butterfly Thinkpad, so I am not suprised that the reporter would use one, especially in 1999.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

I thought he nailed it Dan. I know a lot of folks from SA (we have some in the family) and if you forget that it's Leonardo speaking he sounds quite legitimate.dsigma6 wrote:The only thing I took away from seeing the trailer a dozen times is that his DiCaprio's accent sounds forced/fake...am I right? Maybe it's different once you get used to it.
