X31 freezes when I pick it up by a corner

Whenever I pick my X31 up by one of its corners, the body seems to flex a little, as a result of which the computer freezes. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Should I be worried that my laptop is going to crap out soon?

Well, I would hesitate from picking it up from its corners then.

Sound like it is bordering on a planar board issue; usually, that happens on some T4X Series Thinkpads that get held from their corners too much.

I wouldn't say you should be extremely worried, but I would make sure you have good backups of everything on your system first off and note any aberrant behavoir.

If you want to continue to pick it up by one corner, grab one of the corners below the LCD instead, which would result in a much smaller torque and thus less flex.
