Screen Size on z80m

#1 Post by johnfarrow » Sun Dec 24, 2006 2:32 pm

I have seen a refrence to a 1280x1024 setting that would fill the entire screen, by one of the members here. I Can't find it. Anyone know how to display the above so that it fills the entire screen?

Also, when I click on Fn + Spacebar the scrren gets real small. Is this normal?

Thanks
John

Go to Start > All Programs > ThinkVantage > ThinkPad Configuration, and click on the LCD icon on the upper right, then on Screen expansion choose Enable. Alternatively go to the BIOS setup menu (press F1 at the beginning of the boot sequence), choose HV expansion and Enable.

Fn + Spacebar is the Zoom feature, and is normal behavior.

I did that and the screen size is still reduced when I click on 1280X1024. Is it possible to have 1280X1024 with full screen deflection?

Perhaps 1280x1024 gives a reduced display because it has the wrong aspect ratio for the 4:3 screen. If there is a 1280x960 option, have you tried it?
