Space bar is acting funny

Ok.
First problem (well...second actually after the strange gray point on the screen) for my relatively new T60p. Space bar sometimes gets stuck on the right side. Actually something prevents it from going down. Very annoying I must say - especially after all the hype about thinkpad keyboards. I can't figure out how to take the spacebar off. Other keys just clip off.. but no space bar ?

You likely have a crumb under the spacebar. Try using some canned air to blow it out before you try removing the spacebar. I don't have any knowledge of the procedure to remove the spacebar itself.
