T42 MotherBoard 27K9911 vs. 39T5470

Hi I had a T42 (2373-L5U, 15') and it comes with FingerPrint, and ati 9600 64MB. The motherboard got toasted (water spelt, IBM won't cover it). It won't boot at all, just the fan running.

Anyway, I found a board with FRU 39T5470, and my question is would this work flawlessly relacing my original 27K9911 baord? It seems like there's no place I could find more info about this "39T5470" board, such as does it come w/s FingerPrint chipset etc........

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks and have a nice holidays.


p/s: is there anything I need to watchout before replacing the mainboard? (i.e. reconfigure the security chip or something else like that)
