hi x-ray
i'll have to say u have some screws loose :P or missing
the keyboard is hel in place by 2 screws from the backside, one is located near the battery and the hole has 2 little triangles near it and the other one is inside the minipci space and holds the CDC daughter card.the cdc card has 2 screws and one of them holds the keyboard.
check if u have the screws in place

PS: i have an T23 thinkpad, what type is yours?
i don't know if this same placement of screws on other thinkpads.

good luck

the red is where that pullout arm comes out when i open the screen
the white is where the bezel comes up and the keyboard moves around

all because the ultrabay2000 drive cage is broken and that caused the bezel to break when the screen opened

This is a very common problem with the T2x. There is a metal latch on the aluminum cage which brakes. This causes the keyboard bezel to stretch/bend and eventually it breaks. The only solution is a new cage. They are not sold separately by IBM (I think it's part of one of the miscellaneous packages), but sometimes pop up on eBay.
