T42 with 22inch LCD external monitor ?

Hi,

My question is : is it possible to have an external 22inch monitor with full resolution (i.e. 1680 x 1050) going out of my T42 (through VGA connector) which has an ATI 9600 mobility (the T42 screen is a 1400 x 1050).

I ask the question because this res is not available by default through the screen settings.

I also use a mini-dock 2878, will it work with the VGA connector on it?

Hi, I have the same with my T41p. And if you go to the advanced options after you hooked up your screen you will see you can choose the right resolution.
