50Hz vs 60Hz refresh?
50Hz vs 60Hz refresh?
For some reason, my LCD only seems to report a 50Hz refresh. Nearly all video is oriented around a 60Hz refresh, so the end result is videos playing back look slightly jumpy on the LCD. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've read reports that there used to be a 60Hz option available, but it somehow disappeared with one of the driver updates.

According to the following thread, you have to go back a couple of video driver revisions. If you want the original video driver, the setup program should be located on your hard drive. On my T42 it is located at C:\IBMTOOLS\drivers\VIDEO. I am not sure if Lenovo still uses the same directories, but I imagine it is there somewhere. If you do decide to install the old driver, you should uninstall the current one first.
