2GB PC2-5300 40Y7735? t60p widescreen

About 3 weeks back i received my 8741C2U... Currently 2x 1GB.

So, the original 2GB memory sodimm for the t60p was the PC2-4200. Lenovo now has a 40Y7735 part which is PC2-5300, but it doesn't list my model 8741 as supported, though it shows other t60p models. Anyone know the deal on this? Will it work fine at PC2-5300 speed along with one of my existing 1GB? I'm not concerned with dual channel or the 3-4GB debate. heh.

Also, anyone currently running 1GB module + 2GB module at 667MHz? (PC2-5300)

According to the tabook (view item 3 dated 01 Dec 2006) your 8741-C2U can use the PC2-5300 memory. You may want to contact Lenovo to make sure if you don't get any direct confirmation to your thread request.
