T40 screen going bkank

I am having problems with T40 thinkpad. Recently the screen
started getting turned off. Sometimes the screens comes back up
and may be after an hr or so it goes blank again.

I tried running all the diagnostics and all the
results came fine.

Any suggestions / help is highly appreciated.

PS: Now I have a remote server running
and I can access my laptop from anywhere just fine and only that
the screen is blank.
