Z61m or T43p

#1 Post by phoenix_one » Tue Jan 02, 2007 2:47 pm

I'm planning to buy a Z61m Advanced or a T43p.

My questions are:

1. Radeon X1400 128MB vs ATI FireGL V3200 128MB any major performance difference here?

2. Do I have to buy additional warranty at the moment of purchase? or can I wait until later? How much later?

3. Can the processor on the Z61m be upgraded later without problems?

I would like the Z61p but it goes over my budget plus does not have the Titanium cover.

Thank You for your input and insights
Z61m 9450-D6U Upgraded to 2 GB RAM

T30 2366-66U Upgraded to 768MB RAM and 40GB Hard Drive

Should be quite close.

I think you can get it later, don't know how much later. I see no reason not to get it right away, though.

More future-proof than T43p, that's for sure. T43p won't accept Core Duos / Core 2 Duos.
