My 600 is running smoothly. Thanks to all the advice that I have found in the forum that enabled me to continue using this machine.
ThinkPad 600 (WinXP Pro, 20GB, 288mb)
ThinkPad A22 (WinXP Pro, 5GB, 256mb; busted lcd; currently connected to LCD monitor)
Inspiron 6000 (Two drives: WinXP Pro 60GB + Ubuntu 6.10 6.5GB, 2GB)
