T60/p Keyboard Retrofit into a T4X ?

#1 Post by yangotang » Sat Jan 06, 2007 1:11 pm

Has anyone successfully completed this before?

I'm just starting to get sick of (after about 2.5 years) not having a start button.

Thanks in advance!

This is the only problem I see:

I don't think it's anything that a dremel couldn't fix ;)

May be it would be nice, if Lenovo gave options to choose from, no windows key on T60's :)

As a previous T60p owner I know their layout is different.
The T60 has some added Windows keys that the T4x has not - that might affect dimensions and/or BIOS support.
