Issue with Z60T - Squeaky handrest

#1 Post by clydebassie » Sun Jan 07, 2007 1:17 am

Hello!
First of all I apologize if this question has been asked and answered to death..I did search for the issue with some key words but nothing was returned.

I have a Z60T and I've already sent it back to IBM for service and received it the same way I sent it.....

My issue is the following:

The case of the laptop makes a clicking sound, a very noticable clicking sound on the lower right hand corner (right where the logo is), it feels almost as if there is a clip broken that is not securing the top level of the laptop case with the bottom. This only is noticable in the right corner...the left is great...! sure I notice something minor but just like any other laptop and only if I apply unusual presssure to it.

Has anybody had this issue before? I'd be happy to hear from anybody that has and how they have solved it or if IBM took care of the issue. I am beginning to accept this as a design issue but it pains me to accept it!!

Regards,
Clyde
