Wireless USB Mouse Issues

#1 Post by ayw01 » Sun Jan 07, 2007 9:23 pm

I am having issues with my Logitech MX700 wireless mouse.

I have a T-60 2623-D6U that I got back in June 06. I recently wiped everything and clean installed Win XP Pro. After installing all of the IBM Ultranav drivers, I installed the latest Mouseware drivers/software from Logitech. I then rebooted and plugged in my mouse, allowing the Mouseware to detect it. These were the directions that were given in another thread related to USB mice.

I have the MX700 plugged into a powered USB hub which is then plugged into the my T60. Every once in a while (sometimes every 10 minutes), the mouse will just stop responding. The touchpad and trackpoint still work, and all the other devices on the USB hub still respond. To bring the mouse back, I have to take out and replace the USB hub jack.

I had this problem before the clean install, and I was hoping the clean install would fix it, but no luck. Any tips?
