I wanna enable the power on security feature on my T60 in order to make the fingerprint replace the power on password. However, no matter what I tried, I just can not have this feature on my T60. The problem is... I have a X41, and I do have that enabled on it. I tried to make the BIOS settings the same on both machines, but I still can not get it work. Don't tell me that I need to check the power on security feature in the control center, since I also tried to mimic all the settings in the fingerprint software. So... anybody have any idea what's going on?
I did have this feature work once, but after I reinstall Windows, everything is gone. The problem, I think, is that I do not have the option "power on security" in the logon tab which is inside system setting tab of the control center. I also remembered how hard I got it work on my X41, but it's a long time already... don't really remember how I made it.
