Access Connections - Wireless Power Control

Hi - I'm having an issue where my access connections does not detect i have a wireless card. (ie. when hitting FN+F5, wireless does not show up under Wireless Radio)

I recall that there was a "manual fix" one had to perform to get the wireless control back. Can someone please forward that to me, pls? I can't seem to find it via search.
