ReadyBoost on X40/X41/X41 Tablet

#1 Post by faberryman » Wed Jan 10, 2007 11:59 am

The 4200RPM 1.8" hard drive seems to be the real bugaboo with the X40 series. Has anyone tried ReadyBoost on one of these computers using a fast SD card like the Sandisk Extreme in the SD slot or some other fast memory card in a PCMCIA adapter in the PC Card slot? I'd be interested in the results. Could this be the salvation for the X40 series? I understand the graphics limitations and the inability to run the Aero graphic interface. Thanks in advance.
