On screen display for Access IBM button

I recently reinstalled my T43P from the recovery disks (as part of an upgrade to a 100G hard drive) and have customized the Access IBM button to launch Firefox just like my previous install did. The thing is that now when I press the Access IBM button the "Firefox" display name doesn't appear in green letters like it did on the old install and I can't figure out why. Has anyone run into this and can provide a pointer? Google hasn't yielded anything, but I know I've seen this topic mentioned somewhere.
