need to back a file

#1 Post by gibblr » Thu Jan 11, 2007 2:20 am

Good day
there is a file that you are supposed to back up regarding the activation of your machine. I heard that if you are just doing a reinstall without a hardware change you can back up this file and the re-activation process is a breeze. I cannot remember what that file is called or where it is, does anyone know what file I am talking about?

Thanks for your time
Chad

I think you're referring to the WPA.DBL file and its backup copy WPA.BAK
