Bluetooth Problem, Help please
Bluetooth Problem, Help please
Hi guys, just got a problem with my new T60p.
it's really tricky: my T60p can only send pictures/files but cannot receive them. I got a camera w/Bluetooth and tried to send pics to my T60p, but always said 'send failed'.
I test it using my phone w/bluetooth.
send pic from camera to my phone. OK
send pic from phone to my camera. OK
send pic from T60p to phone. OK
send pic from T60p to camera. OK
... ...
send pic from camera to T60p. FAIL
sned pic from phone to T60p. FAIL
I tried lots of different ways to make it work, like set all the secure connection 'Not Required'; Paired with my camera first; One-time connection with 'passcode'; Stop/Restart Bluetooth Device/T60p, but still cannot make it right.
The tricky is: My bluetooth seems all right, like it can send pics to my phone and camera, and also I can use it sync. my phone to explore the memory card inside, but just can't receive pics/files from external devices.
Anybody any ideas w/this problem?
Thanks~

If you are using the latest version of the bluetooth driver, you will have to set up the file transfer to connect to the phone. From there I've been able to connect to the phone files (and the storage card) just like you would view a USB connection (albiet a slower connection).
Try right clicking on the bluetooth icon in the taskbar, and click quick connect, file transfer.
Also, you might be having some trouble due to the windows firewall, so I would check that as well.
Good luck.

The phone connection is OK 'cos anyway I can explore it by Nokia PC suite, but I do panic with my Camera.
It's Kodka V610 w/BT.
It can be found via BT, can be paired via BT, the camera can receive pictures via BT (or say my T60p can send pics to camera), but the camera just can't send pics to my T60p as 'send failed', and nothing showed to my T60p screen(like pop up 'xxx tried connection but failed').
any one ever had this kind of problem? or would anyone can try it on your own machine to check it out?
thanks~

Resolved
I found the default transfer mode is 'PIM Item Transfer' for my camera, just need to check the option 'save other item to folder'.

I experienced similar problems but in my case I am using Dopod U1000 PDA. I can't really transfer files onto my T60. The solution that works for me to actually right click on the bluetooth icon and then click receive files before I could actually send anything.bonabest wrote:Resolved![]()
