Hi there!
I own a T43 (model #2686-DFU) since September. For some reason, the fingerprint software and some other ThinkVantage software are in French, even though I bought an English system. I think the reason for that is I (by mistake) selected French as system language while I was updating the system.
I am now stuck with the French version of the software and I want to get rid of it. I tried everything, such as uninstalling the software and re-downloading it manually. Nothing works. Even if all the software is in English, as soon as I log out, I am asked to swipe my finger in French.
My guess is that somewhere in my system, there is file telling the computer to show up the French message when I logon.
Any clue how that issue can be solved?

ThinkVantage Language Problem
