Warranty unaviable???

#1 Post by bfgun » Sun Jan 14, 2007 12:26 pm

When i check the warranty status of a T41 thinkpad, i get this response:

"Information for Warranty was not found. Please click back and try again or you may navigate clicking on 'Warranty'."

Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I have another machine just like it, same warranty plan, and that info comes up.

Any ideas or suggestions other than calling IBM?

Thanks,
B

that's what i'm wondering. i typed another serial number lime mine, but used an R instead of an A and that came up. The A is programmed in the bios, but i think it's an R but looks more like an A.

Is there any way to change this info in the bios?
