You could probably just edit the file "World.time......png" and add the Thinkcentre logo using photoshop or a similar program. I don't know what resolution you use and which one of the "World.time.....png" files you use, but just change the correct one.

I don't know what you changed so cannot tell you why Sydney is gone, but there are several places you have to change to add a location. How to do this is explained in this thread though. There is a post from me that start with "To add a location you would have to.......".

As I wrote on April 06, you'd better download new version where I replaced constant value with dynamic array length evaluation. Just as "i < Cities.length" instead of "i < 8". Also you can add new names in different languages.
If you want to set back the logo, just replace background images with original ones.

I dunno if anyone has this problem, but if I dont have any icons on my desktop, the woldtime .html desktop doesnt show. Its still there I gather, because everytime I refresh the desktop, there is this fleeting glimpse of the map, but usually, it doesnt show up. I know the remedy is to either keep an icon on the desktop or toggle with the show desktop contextual menu, but I havent found a real solution. BTW, does anyone notice that the .html wallpaper takes longer to load than a static wallpaper on boot?

Of course longer, "worldtime.html" has to load two large images: background and daylight trace. Explorer eats a lot of RAM when it renders these images.

Now that Vista kicked out active desktop, is this dead? (For newer Vista TPs anyhow)

Obviously, I'd much prefer this over the sidebar clock, but I don't have a choice in the matter at the moment.

I don't use Vista so don't know much about it, but what you are saying is that Vista does not support to use a html file as a background?

IBM Wallpaper with World Clock

Kind of an old thread, but try accessing it through a cached copy on google. It might not work once you try to download it, but worth a try. Otherwise give it a couple days and I'm sure the site will be back online.

Good news: It's back up again now (May 25, 2011) --> MoKom ThinkPad wallpaper (russian site). I also noted during last weekend that it was down.

Maybe someone would want to make available a copy of all wallpapers and screensavers, and post a link in the thread FAQ (thinkpads.com - Frequently Asked Questions)? :D

Recently I saw the same active wallpaper but with a weather status displayed next to each City.
Does anyone have any ideas where to find this type ?

EDIT: This was the thread on some other ThinkPad forum, but since I can not understand this language .......

Here is the screenshot:

If you use Google Translate  you will learn that the fellow on the Thai forum found this information in the German Thinkpads forum in the thread Thinkpad-Wallpaper - Zeitzonen. The Thai fellow asks for more information. The German fellow also asks for more information... :(

Hence, I suggest that you register on the one or both forum(s), and ask (in English!) for more information there. Seems kind of logical...
