Hi,
I formatted my new T60 and installed XP and all the drivers, including the fingerprint reader. I've setup a power on and hard drive password, and selected the "replace power on and hard driver passwords with fingerprint reader" option in the fingerprint control centre. However this doesn't work: when it starts up it asks me for the password and, when Windows starts, asks me for my fingerprint.
Would be really grateful for suggestions as to how to fix this!
thanks
Dan

Enter in the settings of BIOS by press F1 when your T60 boots up,
and enable fingerprint for predesktop under the option of security.

My favouritePad is X61. My eBay feedback is here.
My next goal of upgrading my super X61 is: XGA -> SXGA+
