Managed to mess up wi fi drivers what now ?

#1 Post by lazarini » Sat Jan 20, 2007 8:14 pm

As i said ... i managed to mess wi fi drivers on my t41 2373-tg5 ... now when i wanna press fn + F5 and select wi fi on off it dont work ... in add remove programs i have 2 intell wi fi pro drivers and none of them have any size to it so i presume that is bad ...

The wi fi indicator is on all do when i wanna search for wi fi it cant find my wi fi spot ...

Tried to remove the drivers in add remove programs but on reboot they are back there ...

In hardvare devices the wi fi card is listed as 11a b g wirelles lan mini pci adapter , manufacturer philips components ?! driver also same company dated 12.9.2003 ...

Can anyone help me set this up im cluless :?

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers in Device Manager? (Right-click on My Computer and select "Manage ...")

Right. When you "remove" in Device Manager, it removes the driver. As I recall, it then asks you to reboot, and when the system starts up again, it'll find "new" hardware, giving you a chance to start again.
