How do I get 60Hz

#1 Post by PhaseShiftDown » Sat Jan 20, 2007 8:55 pm

I have a T40 with 32mb Radeon 9000. I have installed the latest driver from IBM. I have set the screen refresh rate to 32bit 60Hz in windows, but in Catalyst, it tells me its at 50Hz??

I have search through the forum, and it seems that older driver might fix this problem, but I dont know where I can download them. Also, I have tried install the normal catalyst driver, but gets the INF Video Driver not found error. Does anyone knows how I can get my screen to displaya t 60Hz? Thanks.

Usually installing other driver than the original from Lenovo would cause the screen to flicker and it's very annoying. Try first using a utility called DriverClean (booting in Safe Mode), this will uninstall all the drivers from your PC. Then download again the driver from Lenovo, it should work on 60Hz right away
