T40 XGA to SXGA swap

#1 Post by depravedone » Sun Jan 21, 2007 12:36 pm

Can you swap the LCD on a T40 from an XGA to an SXGA without any problems?

I have a couple prominent BLUE stuck pixels on my XGA 14.1 that are driving me crazy and must replace the LCD before I go completely insane. :x

You definitely can but you have to make sure your video card can support it. I dont know if the 7500M can run the SXGA+ lcd.

Check with the TA books or even thinkwiki
