Don't know if this helps, but Newegg is always your friend

512MB PNY: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820178132

1GB Corsair: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145012

You can shave off a few bucks if you don't mind generic brands either.

Check the New York Craigslist for "PC2-5300" and "laptop" or "notebook". Someone in Brooklyn is selling a 512MB module for only $30.

Get the EXACT same thing through Visa for $101. This is how:

Go to usa.visa.com/personal --> select "Lenovo" in the bottom left menu --> "Redeem Offer" --> "Learn more (IBM)" in the bottom right --> "Continue" --> "Parts & accessories" --> "Certified Used Equipment Notebook options" --> look for "R40Y7738"[/url]
