3000 N100 - Vista Display Resolution probem

#1 Post by DonnieZ » Sun Jan 28, 2007 9:02 am

Got my Audio working in Vista after a suggestion on this forum, but now I have a new beef with Vista.

Whenever my machine goes into hibernate, sleep, or whatever you want to call it, the screen resolution drops down one notch to 1400x1050. When I look at display properties, this is the highest resolution available even though I know the display does 1600x1100 or something like that.

The only way to get it back is to do a reboot and then the slider will move one more notch to the right. I did a Windows Update and have the latest driver available from Microsoft. I tried to go to the nVidia site but I couldn't find a Vista driver for the GeForce Go 7300.

Has anyone ran into this?

Be patient and wait for a video driver upgrade.

I had the same problem w/ RC2 and the ATI card on my T60p. Recent driver upgrade solved it.
