Intel Matrix Storage Manager software

Hello one and all:

I just ran a software update check for my ThinkPad T60 and noticed that there is a software update recomendation for my unit.
The program is called "INTELL MATRIX STORAGE MANAGER DRIVER".

I imagine this is an update to what was installed on my unit from when it was originall built back in July, 2006.

My question is as follows: Will I, or should I run into any issues updating this particular driver? Is there anything that must be done prior to or during this type of update since it has to do with the SATA Driver?
