super_pi score in Vista
super_pi score in Vista
My machine got the following scores:
1M: 0m53s
2M: 1m58s
It is extremely slow comparing to XP. It took around 1 min to calculate 2M digits in XP.
See my signiture for the machine specification. What's your score for super pi in Vista? Is it because that the super_pi program has not been optimized for vista?

It shouldn't be that much slower. E.g.

-1.27% slower, maybe

I've got the T7600 cpu.
I think you might have some sort of misconfiguration, powersaving maybe?
Re: super_pi score in Vista
Thanks. Yes, it is because of the powersaving. I didn't know powersaving still in effect even I have AC plugged in. Now the computation time for 2M is 1M6s. It is still slower than yours though.sveintore wrote: I've got the T7600 cpu.
