Power Management Question

#1 Post by dclee012 » Sat Feb 03, 2007 12:01 am

I am having some confusion trying to separate these:

A) Power manager driver

B) ThinkPad Power Management driver

C) Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management features

Which, if any, are necessary or redundant?

A) Power manager driver: useless to me

B) ThinkPad Power Management driver: this lets you turnoff the LCD pressing Fn+F3

C) Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management features: Useful to some people but I don't use it

Hello,

I have the Levono "Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management" running, but when I switch to Battery, the MS Windows "Power Meter" still seems to be appear.

Is this behaviour correct?

TIA,
Stephen
