This has happenned to me several times with several different models. After running all the disks, while the last one is still in the drive, I get the error "product recovery failed during the convertion phase".
I called support, and they told me that they've never, ever, ever heard of that error. I get it weekly. Usually, I have to put the hard drive in another unit to get it to take the image.
Has anyone else seen this error or found out what causes it?
thanks.
* I put this topic in the t4x forum because I see it a lot in those. Mostly t41s. I haven't gotten one to load right yet. I think lenovo's been sending me the wrong disks in that particular case, but I guess I could've put this in a more general forum, as I'm sure the error can be triggered on all models.
Error loading factory software.
