transnote worth ??

#1 Post by roncoinc » Sat Feb 03, 2007 6:11 pm

a friend of mine is thinking about parting with his transnote if it is worth it..he is thinking is it worth to keep as an oddity if it's not worth much or would a dollar value cause him to part with it..theres someplace there for him price wise he would sell or keep it.
i have seen it work and it is in nice shape...paperwork and documentation and instruction manual etc...the leather case and pockets,it's impressive...and 600mhz,would that be a p3 and upgradable ??
i heard someplace they come right and left handed ? if so how would you tell ??
i havent seen any on ebay so i have no way to judge it worth...any suggestions would be welcome..tnx..

They seem to be hovering abour $400-$500 dollars, depending on condition. I paid around those amounts for the two I have, one of them being mint when I bought it.

Transnote is worth it

The transnote is worth the 400 or 500 price, depending on configuration. It still works as a everyday laptop. You won't be playing the latest games, but for word documents and more than casual internet use it is great.

It still turns heads, and you'll be in an exclusive fraternity since IBM didn't keep it around too long.

You are cross posting to a thread that is 2 years old....overly exuberant on the sale are we? Do not cross post here please.
