Can A P4-M Motherboard Use A P-M?

#1 Post by jamiphar » Sun Feb 04, 2007 5:08 pm

I was just wondering what the difference between the CPUs are. I notice both P4-M and P-M CPUs have a 400mhz bus, are 478 pin, and are made with the 0.13 micron technology. Are these two processors interchangeable in any way?

The processors are not interchangeable. Their pin configurations are very different from each other. To attempt such a swap may release a lot of smoke :)
