ThinkPad User's Union

#1 Post by mikesugar » Thu Feb 08, 2007 12:24 am

Hi,

I desperately want Lenove to release a Widescreen Flexview.

I've called into Lenovo sales several times to complain about the Widescreen quality and I've directed them to this site to read what others are saying.

They seem to finally be "getting it" that ThinkPad owners are religious about their ThinkPads. They are increasingly telling me they are bubbling up to their managers that there is an outcry for continued and expanded FlexView options.

I think this site can help Lenovo understand and meet customer demands.

Bill, perhaps you can organize some feature polls that can help Lenovo guage customer needs?

They are paying attention.

Mike

I hope that you are right and that this is true, but I think they are likely blowing smoke up your butt... a lot of C/S departments tell customers almost anything when it comes to future products/developments as nothing is confirmed yet...

The only thing that gives me a little more hope is that I've been talking to sales, not engineering. Their comp is partly driven by commission and they want more salable products, so I think they they have a credible voice in communicating customer demand back to marketing.
